MAC Wash & Dry Collection

Today the brand new MAC Wash & Dry collection for summer 2015 hits stores, and I'm going to share with you what I got! After my Sephora Haul last month, I was going to try and buy no makeup at all throughout the month of May, but once I saw images of this collection online, I knew I'd have to make an exception. I also had a gift card for MAC from Christmas that I still had to use too, so I finally used that up (and it gave me a bit of an excuse to buy these)!

First off, can we talk about this packaging? The teal-orange-yellow ombre looks so beautiful and is so perfect for a summer collection! If there's one thing MAC almost always gets right, it's their limited edition packaging - it always gets me!

The products I got are the Matte Bronze bronzer and the Crisp Whites blush. I'm currently almost out of my favourite bronzer, so I thought it would be a good time to buy a new one. I've never used a bronzer from MAC before but I'm hoping it ends up working well for me throughout the summer! It's a good midtone bronzer that isn't too pigmented, so it works well on my fair complexion. Crisp Whites blush is a gorgeous peach with slight shimmer. I really love peachy tones on my cheeks, especially in the summer, so I feel like I'll get a lot of use out of this blush.

Both the bronzer and the blush wore well for 8 hours. When swatched, Matte Bronze didn't have much pigmentation and took quite a bit of building up, but when I used a brush to apply it on my face, it went on much smoother. Crisp Whites both swatched and applied with a brush really well.

From what I've seen, this collection is really stunning. From the packaging to the shades of the products, I'd definitely suggest checking this collection out if you're in the market for some new summer-y makeup!
